We recently visited Saraswati Primary School in Dokotar, which is situated in a very rural part of Nepal.
Child Rescue Nepal has funded the rebuilding of two classrooms following the earthquake in 2015. The school is located in a very poor area and historically they have had major issues with student attendance. Ever since Child Rescue Nepal started funding midday meals for students, and bursaries for children most in need, they have seen nearly full attendance.
With the rebuilding of the classrooms the hope is that we will be able to continue to keep these children in school and therefore safe from trafficking.
