Last week, we said a heartfelt goodbye and good luck to five young people.
The amazing Secondary Education Examination results mark the end of the stay of five of the residents of our Kathmandu care home. Now that they have completed their compulsory education they are ready to move on and live independently. We are so proud of all the progress they have made during their years with us and cannot wait to see them go on and blossom in their adult lives.
We celebrated their achievement with a short and emotional farewell ceremony. Although we are sad to see them go, we consider the success and happiness of every child a victory and are so excited for them. They will continue to be supported through our Youth Transistion Programme so they can live independently and access higher education or vocational training.
