At the beginning of September, Jagadish Bhattari will be taking on the biggest challenge of his life. He’s leaving his hometown of Kathmandu in Nepal to tackle the Nuts challenge – the UK’s toughest obstacle course in Dorking, Surrey. He will be battling through 7km of mud, scaling 100 obstacles such as cargo nets and tyre walls along the way.
“I’ve never done anything like this before but I’m up for the challenge,” says Jagadish. “I’ve started getting up at 5am to train for the race. We’ve had a lot of rain in Nepal recently so finding mud hasn’t been too difficult.”
Jagadish is raising money for Child Rescue Nepal, a charity who rescue children from slavery and reunite them with their families. You can sponsor Jagadish and wish him luck here.
